Aniruddh Setya, MD
Biography:
Dr. Setya is a physician-researcher with clinical experience in Nepal, India, New York, and Florida. He is a board-certified pediatric gastroenterologist well-versed in evaluating symptoms, simplifying complex terminology, and communicating treatment options to caregivers.
Dr. Setya completed his pediatric residency training at Nassau University Medical Center, NY where he also served as chief resident. He subsequently worked as a faculty member at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, India before moving to Florida. He did his pediatric gastroenterology fellowship training at University of Florida, Gainesville.
Dr. Setya has an extensive record of research and clinical publications in his field. He has been an educator and enjoys teaching young doctors. He has received an industry sponsored grant funding his research work on College- Age patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. He is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology by American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Setya has been recognized by as Americas’ Best Doctors by, a national poll that identifies the top 5% of specialists that doctors trust most. Most importantly, Dr. Setya is passionate about providing the highest quality care possible to the children and their caregivers.
His clinical interests lie in the field of inflammatory bowel disease, cow milk protein allergy and liver diseases among others. He is currently an attending physician at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and also provides consulting services to Broward Health in Coral Springs. In his free time, he enjoys working out, spending time with his daughter and wife, dancing and going to the movies.
