Samantha Pravder, DO
Biography:
Samantha H. Pravder, DO, is a board-certified pediatric gastroenterologist at KIDZ Medical Services. She completed her pediatric residency at Westchester Medical Center, Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Valhalla, New York, followed by a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at the same institution. During her fellowship, she held a leadership role as chief fellow and as a representative on the Chief Resident Council. Dr. Pravder earned her Doctor of Science in Osteopathic Medicine at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Pravder has contributed to multiple research studies and publications in the field of pediatric gastroenterology, including investigations on eosinophilic esophagitis, inflammatory bowel disease, food impaction management, lactose intolerance, and endoscopy-related complications. She has presented her work at national conferences such as the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (NASPGHAN) Annual Meeting. Her publications have appeared in peer-reviewed journals, including JPGN Reports.
She is also actively involved in medical education, delivering lectures and small-group teaching sessions for medical students at New York Medical College, as well as mentoring residents and pre-clinical trainees.
Dr. Pravder is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in general pediatrics.
