Biography:
Dr. Diego Diaz is a board‑certified pediatric gastroenterologist at KIDZ Medical Services with more than two decades of experience caring for children with gastrointestinal, liver, and nutritional disorders. He is known for his calm, thoughtful approach and for helping families understand complex conditions with clarity and confidence.
He earned his medical degree in 1996 from the Universidad Central de Venezuela and completed his pediatric residency at Miami Children’s Hospital. Dr. Diaz then pursued fellowship training in pediatric gastroenterology at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta/Emory University, where he strengthened his expertise in inflammatory bowel disease, chronic abdominal pain, liver disease, and feeding disorders. He is board‑certified in both pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology.
