Biography:
Dr. Dawn K. George is an obstetrician and gynecologist who has been caring for women in South Florida since 2006. She is board‑certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Dr. George provides comprehensive care for women across all stages of life, with a focus on personalized, compassionate, and evidence‑based treatment.
Dr. George specializes in robotic surgery and minimally invasive procedures, and she cares for women needing maternal‑fetal medicine services as well as routine well‑woman care. Her clinical expertise includes vaginal and Cesarean deliveries, miscarriage and postpartum support, ectopic pregnancy, fibroids, polyps, sexually transmitted infections, endometrial biopsy, and bariatric‑related care.
She earned her medical degree with honors from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit and completed her residency training at the University of South Carolina in Columbia and the University of Toledo in Ohio.
Dr. George is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and she is a member of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons.
