Marissa Piotrowski, APRN
Biography:
Marissa Piotrowski, APRN, MSN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified pediatric cardiology nurse practitioner at KIDZ Medical Services. She holds a master of science degree in nursing from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She began her career as a pediatric registered nurse in the medical-surgical unit at Miami Children’s Hospital (now Nicklaus Children’s Hospital), where she gained experience in direct patient care, perioperative management, and family education. She later practiced as a family nurse practitioner in pediatric primary care and pediatric neurology with Neuro Network Partners at Miami Children’s Hospital (now Nicklaus Children’s Hospital).
She is board-certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She manages both acute and chronic cases, performs detailed physical assessments, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, and collaborates with pediatric cardiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care. She also serves as a clinical resource and educator for patients, families, and healthcare staff.
