Austin Boyd, DO
Biography:
Austin Boyd, DO is a board-certified pediatrician at KIDZ Medical Services. He completed his pediatric residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Pensacola at Ascension Sacred Heart, where he served as resident council treasurer and presented on a range of pediatric topics, including anemia, orthopedic complaints, and newborn care. Dr. Boyd earned his Doctor of Science in Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine.
During his training, Dr. Boyd was involved in several research initiatives, including a national study led by the American Academy of Pediatrics to validate the 2022 hyperbilirubinemia management guidelines. He also contributed to research on pediatric emergency care protocols.
Dr. Boyd is passionate about community service. He has mentored children in foster care through the Court Appointed Special Advocates program (CASA), provided free physicals to underserved youth in Kansas City, and organized humanitarian trips to Haiti focused on medical aid, education, and community development.
Dr. Boyd is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is fluent in English and conversational in Spanish.
