Amanda Fifi, MD
Biography:
Dr. Amanda C. Fifi is a board‑certified pediatric gastroenterologist and nutrition specialist at KIDZ Medical Services. She is dedicated to providing thoughtful, evidence‑based care for children with a wide range of digestive and nutritional conditions, and she works closely with families to support their child’s health and well‑being.
Dr. Fifi completed her pediatric residency and fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at Holtz Children’s Hospital/University of Miami. She is board‑certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, the American Board of Pediatric Gastroenterology, and the National Board of Physician Nutrition Specialists. She is also a recipient of the DIGEST award, a prestigious three‑year Cystic Fibrosis Foundation grant that supports advanced gastroenterology training in the care of children with cystic fibrosis. Dr. Fifi has authored numerous articles in pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition.
Before joining KIDZ Medical, Dr. Fifi served as the director of pediatric nutrition in the Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition Department at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She also served as associate program director of the Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship and as an associate professor in the department.
From 2015 to 2025, she served on the Jackson Memorial Hospital Pediatric Feedback Committee and the Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship Recruitment Committee.
