About Pediatric Nephrology

The Pediatric Nephrology Division of Kidz Medical Services provides medical care to children and teenagers in Palm Beach County, Florida. Children and teenagers have unique medical needs and require the specialized care of physicians trained specifically to care for children and teenagers. Pediatric Nephrologists undergo special training in order to better care for young patients. The Pediatric Nephrology Division focuses on providing the highest quality of medical care possible. Pediatric Nephrology involves the diagnosis, treatment and management of disorders affecting the kidney and urinary tract. These disorders include:

  • Kidney failure
  • High blood pressure
  • Genetic kidney diseases
  • Kidney stones
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Abnormalities in the urine
  • Growth and developmental problems related to chronic kidney disease

Our Physicians

Omer Mansoor, M.D.

Dr. Mansoor is a board-certified pediatric nephrologist practicing in Palm Beach County, Florida. Dr. Mansoor obtained his medical degree from Sind Medical College in Pakistan. He completed pediatric residencies at the National Institute of Child Health in Karachi, Pakistan and the West Virginia University Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. Dr. Mansoor also completed a pediatric nephrology fellowship at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida.

Dr. Mansoor is licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine. He is board certified by the Diplomate American Board of Pediatrics. Additionally, Dr. Mansoor is board certified in pediatric nephrology. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Nephrology and the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology.
