Jaime Alkon, MD
Dr. Jaime Alkon is a board-certified pediatric imaging cardiologist.
He earned his medical degree from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru, in 1997. He completed his pediatrics residency at the State University of New York in Brooklyn in 2001. He completed his pediatric cardiology core fellowship in 2010 at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario, where he served as chief fellow. Dr Alkon completed a fourth–year fellowship in advanced echocardiography and fetal echocardiography at the Hospital for Sick Children in 2011.
Dr. Alkon served as staff pediatric cardiologist / pediatric echocardiography and fetal cardiologist at Phoenix Children’s Hospital from 2011 to 2014. He then served as medical director of pediatric and congenital echocardiography at the Heart Institute at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital until 2018, when he joined KIDZ Medical Services.
