
Colette Meehan, MD
Biography:
Dr. Colette Meehan is a board-certified pediatrician and pediatric endocrinologist who obtained her medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She completed her residency and fellowship training at the University of Florida College of Medicine.
Dr. Meehan is dedicated to teaching and is a voluntary faculty member at Florida International University’s Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in Miami, the University of Vermont’s College of Medicine in Burlington, and South University’s College of Nursing and Public Health based in Savannah, Georgia.
She has a special interest in caring for children with gender dysphoria, diabetes, thyroid disease, Turner syndrome, growth hormone deficiency, disorders of sexual differentiation, adrenal disorders, autoimmune endocrine disorders, and bone metabolism.
Dr. Meehan is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology by the American Board of Pediatrics.
