
Amit Patange, MD
Biography:
Dr. Amit Patange earned his medical degree at Seth G S Medical College and King Edward Memorial Hospital; in his hometown of Bombay; India. He also holds a master’s degree in public health from the University of Texas in Houston. He then completed his pediatric residency and a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan; Wayne State University; in Detroit; Michigan.
Dr. Patange joined KIDZ Medical Services in 2013 and currently practices in West Palm Beach; Florida. He is actively involved in the congenital cardiovascular program at Palm Beach Children’s Hospital where he also serves as the medical director of the fetal cardiology program within the fetal diagnostic center.
Dr. Patange is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. He has authored and published several papers in scientific journals. He is committed to medical education and mentors medical students from the University of Vermont and Florida Atlantic University; where he has an appointment as assistant professor of pediatrics.
Dr. Patange’s clinical interests include syncope evaluation; dilated cardiomyopathy; complex congenital heart disease; post-operative care of patients with congenital heart disease; and noninvasive cardiac imaging such as fetal echocardiography.
