“This is our beautiful baby William on his birthday 3/27 weighing in at 1 pound 13 ounces, at 27 weeks and 1 day gestation. He was born early because I had preeclampsia and developed HELLP syndrome. It is very hard to look back at these pictures of him now. Three days later, he developed pulmonary hypertension and went on nitric, very scary!!”

“This picture of me holding William is the second time I got to hold him and it was on Mother’s Day (the first time I held him was for about 10 minutes while they changed his bed). As you know, one of the most difficult things for parents is not being able to hold your baby and comfort him.”
“It was quite a journey with ups and downs.
Hurray for extubation!”

“Growing bigger and stronger.”

“Discharge day with my favorite neonatologist.
Best Father’s day present ever!” – The Parents of Baby William
